Howard Ho is a China Analyst at SOSi. He focuses on science and technology (S&T) innovation, technology policy, military and defense issues, and China’s legal system. As a native Chinese Mandarin speaker who spent his childhood and early adulthood in Taiwan, he has a profound understanding in regard to China and the cross-strait relationship. Howard was previously a research support specialist at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and served in the U.S. Army as a paralegal specialist. He has an M.A. in international relations from the George Washington University, an LL.M. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and an LL.B. from the Soochow University in Taiwan.
